Demetra (Mimi) Seriki resides in Colorado Springs, CO, where she grew up and met her husband of 22 years. Demetra began attending births at the age of sixteen in the hospital setting, supporting teenage mother's as labor support in her local community. During the spring of 2015, Demetra successfully completed the Portfolio Evaluation Process (PEP) and successfully passed (Northern American Registry of Midwives (NARM) exam. As such, Demetra is currently a Registered Midwife in the state of Colorado. In 2017, Demetra successfully graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Midwifery (BSM) from Midwives College of Utah (MCU). Demetra also received her Certified Nurse’s Assistant (CNA) Certificate in 1998 from Pikes Peak Community College (PPCC). Since that time, Demetra continued to further her education in medical management as a Registered Medical Manager, Registered Medical Coder, and a Certified Professional Medical Auditor. Over the last 16 years Demetra has worked in medical administration with physicians in multiple specialties such as Family Practice, Pediatrics, Sports Medicine, Physical Therapy, Pulmonology, and Obstetrics & Gynecology.
