2019 Midwifery Skills Workshops

 A Mothers Choice Midwifery is excited to offer accessible and equitable intensive skills training. We are committed to growing the next generation of midwives through small group training, with a focus on supporting midwifery students of color.  

Our curriculum provide an integrated learning opportunity, including group lecture, open discussion, and team hands on skill simulations. 

Topics Include:

• identifying anterprtum risk factors
• breech + compound presentations  
• venipuncture/ IV placement
• accessing birth complication + emergencies 
• intrapartum fetal heart monitoring 
• identifying lacerations + suturing
